The UK is bracing for its first real taste of winter this week — with freezing temperatures, widespread frost, and even snow expected in parts of the country :snowflake::cloud_with_snow:
After a mild weekend, temperatures are set to plunge across the UK starting Monday night. The Met Office warns of lows dropping to -1°C in the north, with rural Scotland facing an icy -7°C to -8°C. Even towns and cities won’t be spared, as overnight temperatures dip to just 1°C or 2°C.
Icy mornings, frost-covered cars, and yes — even snow on high ground in northern England — are all on the cards. But in true British fashion, it won’t last long before wet and windy weather takes over again.
Is this a preview of the winter ahead? Watch now to find out what’s coming your way :eyes:
