Shaquille O’Neal’s brand-new $180,000 Range Rover has been stolen while being transported between states. The luxury SUV, which had been specially modified with an oversized driver’s seat to fit the 7-foot-1 basketball legend, reportedly vanished in transit.

According to the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office, initial findings indicate that someone may have fraudulently taken possession of the vehicle. The car was being shipped from Georgia to Louisiana by a company called Effortless Motors when it disappeared. Investigators suspect that the theft may have been linked to a digital breach of the transport company’s systems.

Authorities later discovered that a tow truck registered to Griffin Wrecker Service LLC, with a Georgia license plate YIW241, was used to move the vehicle to an address in Atlanta. The individual believed to have organized the pickup has yet to be identified.

O’Neal’s Range Rover was reportedly picked up on Monday, October 20, but never made it to its destination. Effortless Motors is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the car’s recovery, and O’Neal is said to be fully cooperating with investigators.

The case remains under investigation. O’Neal, who is known for his love of custom cars, recently had his Lucid Air and Rolls-Royce Cullinan modified to suit his size and even refurbished Kobe Bryant’s high school car as a gift to Bryant’s parents. The NBA Hall of Famer once admitted on The Big Podcast with Shaq that his collection includes 40 cars and five homes — though even he joked he’s not sure why he needs that many.
