Chandigarh: 663 motorcycle engines roared their riders resplendent in their magnificent outfits. This was the Bravehearts Ride – organised to commemorate the services, sacrifices and achievements of the heroes of the 1965 Indo-Pak war. At the beginning of the event, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria paid homage to the martyrs by laying a wreath at the Chandigarh War Memorial. The Punjab Armed Police Band played patriotic tunes on the occasion. The dignified and inspiring proceedings of the ceremony left everyone deeply moved.
चंडीगढ़: 663 मोटरसाइकिलों के इंजनों की गड़गड़ाहट के साथ सवार अपने शानदार परिधानों में सजे हुए रवाना हुए। यह ब्रेवहार्ट्स राइड थी-जो 1965 के भारत-पाक युद्ध के वीरों की सेवाओं, बलिदानों और उपलब्धियों को स्मरण करने के लिए आयोजित की गई। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत में पंजाब के राज्यपाल एवं चंडीगढ़ के प्रशासक श्री गुलाब चंद कटारिया ने चंडीगढ़ वॉर मेमोरियल पर पुष्पचक्र अर्पित कर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी। इस अवसर पर पंजाब आर्म्ड पुलिस बैंड ने देशभक्ति की धुनें प्रस्तुत कीं। समारोह की गरिमामयी और प्रेरणादायक कार्यवाही ने सभी को गहराई से प्रभावित किया।
