The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, Oct. 30, said it is monitoring a new low-pressure area (LPA 10i) located 1,515 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao that may develop into a tropical cyclone in the next few days.
