Watch the heartwarming moment a teacher runs back mid New York City Marathon to give her students a hug.
Rebecca Hirata, from New York, USA, filmed the clip showing the emotional reunion as the teacher runs back to a group of her pupils, dressed in pink and holding handmade signs, cheering her on from the sidelines.
After initially missing them in the crowd, she doubles back, running all the way to embrace each one in turn as the children jump and cheer.
The touching moment has melted hearts online, gathering over 2.3 million views on TikTok, with viewers praising the bond between teacher and students.
Rebecca said: “The teacher first misses them, and the crowd gets her to see them, she runs all the way back and hugs every single student.”
