Ramon Magsaysay honoree dedicates award to Duterte drug war victims
Fr. Flaviano Villanueva, 2025 Ramon Magsaysay awardee, dedicates his award to the victims of former president Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs. In his acceptance speech, Villanueva said the award was not the ending but a 'call to keep washing the tired feet of the people.' The 2025 Ramon Magsaysay Award Presentation Ceremony was held at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila, where the foundation honored three awardees across Asia, including Villanueva.
