NU secures play off spot after win vs FEU
National University secures a playoff for the no. 2 seed at the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament after stopping Far Eastern University, 70-64, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Nov. 12, 2025. Claiming the first Final Four berth last Nov. 8 and their fourth straight win this Wednesday, the league-leading Bulldogs improved to 10-2 and moved on the cusp of a top two finish which merits a twice-to-beat semis incentive. The seventh seed Tamaraws dropped to 4-7, suffering a hit in their Final Four bid. Jake Figueroa continued to make his case for the MVP award, leading NU with 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
