In a dramatic demonstration on Thursday, several pro-Palestinian protesters climbed Berlin’s iconic Brandenburg Gate and unfurled banners reading “Freedom for Palestine” and “Never Again Genocide.” Using a crane, three activists reached the top of the landmark, lit flares, and chanted slogans. Berlin police deployed around 75 officers, arresting six individuals involved in the protest. The incident lasted just over an hour before rescue teams intervened.
