दिल्ली की एक पुरानी कोठी में रखा एक बड़ा आईना लोगों को हमेशा डराता रहा। कहा जाता था कि उसमें देखने वाला अपना असली चेहरा नहीं, बल्कि अपनी मौत का रूप देखता है। एक रात, 23 साल की लड़की पार्टी के बाद वहीं रुकी और जिज्ञासा में आईने में झाँक लिया। सब सामान्य था… फिर अचानक उसके पीछे किसी दूसरी लड़की की परछाई दिखाई देने लगी।
पीछे मुड़कर देखा—कोई नहीं।
फिर आईने में देखा—वह परछाई मुस्कुराते हुए उसकी ओर बढ़ रही थी।
डरकर उसने शीशा तोड़ने की कोशिश की, लेकिन उससे पहले ही वह आईने के भीतर खिंच गई!
अगली सुबह केवल टूटा हुआ आईना मिला… और उसके अंदर आज भी उस लड़की की चीखती हुई परछाई कैद है।
In an old Delhi mansion stood a giant mirror that people feared. It was said that anyone who looked into it didn’t see their real face—but the face of their death. One night, a 23-year-old girl stayed there after a party and glanced into the mirror out of curiosity. Everything seemed normal… until she saw another girl’s reflection behind her.
When she turned around—no one was there.
When she looked again—the reflection was smiling and walking toward her.
Terrified, she tried to break the mirror, but before the glass shattered, she was pulled inside.
The next morning, all that remained was the broken mirror… still holding her screaming reflection within it.
