Watch alert issued as tropical cyclone intensifies east of Darwin

Cyclone Fina has intensified into a category two system. Forecasters are predicting it will hit the Northern Territory coast on the Cobourg peninsula as early as Friday night. It also looks like it’s probably headed for Darwin.
