Russian drones slammed into residential neighborhoods of Kharkiv just after midnight, injuring at least 32 people — including two children — and setting multiple cars and apartment buildings on fire, Ukrainian officials said.
According to regional authorities, nearly 20 Geran-2/Shahed drones targeted three districts of the city, striking near a medical facility and destroying civilian infrastructure.
Kharkiv, located 30 km from the Russian border, has faced near-daily drone and missile attacks since early 2022.
