Adamson escapes La Salle to move up in team standings

Adamson escapes La Salle, 61-60, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Nov. 19, 2025 to bolster its semifinal bid in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament. Leading by six at 61-55 in the last two minutes, the Soaring Falcons saw their lead trimmed to one after a Jacob Cortez basket and an Earl Abadam trey with 27 ticks left. The Green Archers then forced a turnover and gained possession but could not capitalize as Abadam missed his triple near the end of the game clock. The Soaring Falcons snapped a 3-game slide and rose to 6-7, rising from seventh to sixth place in the standings. La Salle dropped to 6-6 but stays in fourth place.
