इस साल बड़ी संख्या में टैक्सपेयर्स को समय पर इनकम टैक्स रिफंड नहीं मिला है, और लाखों लोग अब भी अपने रिफंड का इंतजार कर रहे हैं। ऐसे में CBDT की ओर से एक राहतभरा अपडेट सामने आया है। इंडिया इंटरनेशनल ट्रेड फेयर (IITF) में टैक्सपेयर्स लाउंज के उद्घाटन के दौरान CBDT चेयरमैन रवि अग्रवाल ने साफ किया कि विभाग बचे हुए सभी वैध रिफंड जल्द जारी करने की प्रक्रिया में है। उन्होंने बताया कि कुछ रिफंड्स हाई-वैल्यू और सिस्टम-फ्लैग्ड होने के कारण अतिरिक्त जांच में फंसे हुए हैं, जिसकी प्रोसेसिंग अब अंतिम चरण में है।
