Shahjahanpur, UP — a car driver has been fined ₹10,000 after a viral video showed him blocking a government ambulance carrying a critically ill woman for nearly 6 km, ignoring continuous sirens.
Police identified the accused as Indra Pratap Singh and issued a challan under Section 194(E) of the MV Act. Officials say the delay lasted around 25 minutes but the patient thankfully reached the hospital in time.
SP Rajesh Dwivedi urged citizens to always give way to emergency vehicles — it’s a legal and moral duty.
