Universe – Universe 1971 (UK, Hard, Psychedelic Rock)
An English band that found refuge in Norway. One day, while touring the country, their bus broke down near the home of one of their ardent fans, either themselves or simply a rock fan obsessed with psychedelia. The man took them in, fed them, and gave them shelter for the night. Since the host was a poet, they had to listen to his works in poetry and prose... As a result of this "inspiration," they recorded a jam session as a private endeavor for the man. The result was this rarity, considered by many to be a masterpiece of hard psychedelia. There, in 1993, the band recorded their second album, "The Wheel," which included previously unreleased studio recordings from 1971-1972, recordings of a live show from 1970, and tracks from a single from the same year. The album was released only on vinyl, limited to 500 copies.
