Hulu Langat and Pendang MPs were ordered out of the Dewan Rakyat for 30 minutes after a shouting match erupted over allegations of spreading fitnah (slander), forcing Deputy Speaker Alice Lau to intervene repeatedly.
The incident began when Mohd Sany Hamzan (PH-Hulu Langat), during a query to Suhaizan Kaiat (PH-Pulai), criticised lawmakers whom he claimed frequently “peddle slander,” naming Datuk Awang Hashim (PN-Pendang) among them.
