Lawmakers attend Independent Commission Infrastructure hearing on flood control mess
Caloocan Rep. Dean Asistio arrives at the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) office in Taguig City on Nov. 25, 2025 to shed light on the flood control project scandal to which he has been linked. Speaking to reporters, Asistio said that he voluntarily submitted himself to the ICI to clear his name. Meanwhile, Quezon City 1st District Rep. Juan Carlos Atayde also attended the ICI hearing but left shortly, choosing to answer the allegations of corruption in the proper forum.
