Volunteers at ground zero in Hat Yai, Thailand, are appealing for assistance from the Malaysian government as they struggle to evacuate large numbers of Malaysians with limited resources.
According to United Sikhs Malaysia, more manpower and equipment such as boats and large trucks are urgently needed to reach areas with waist-deep water and move stranded people out of their hotels.
