Gabungan Rakyat Sabah led by Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor is poised to form the next state government after unofficial results indicate the coalition has won 29 seats.
This puts them in position to cobble together with partners Pakatan Harapan and independents the 37 seats needed to form a simple majority in the 73-seat state assembly.
