Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim assured that he has not interfered in the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) probe into his former political secretary Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin.
Speaking during Prime Minister’s Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Dec 2), Anwar said he has not contacted the MACC regarding the investigation and claimed that previous governments had protected large “syndicates.”
