Russia’s Centre Group of Forces has completed the full liberation of Krasnoarmeysk, sealing thousands of Ukrainian soldiers inside the northern pocket as President Vladimir Putin personally confirmed the city is now under Russian control. Commander Valeri Solodchuk reported that attempts by Ukrainian troops to break out have failed repeatedly, with Russian forces conducting mopping-up operations and expanding their encirclement towards Dimitrov and Novopavlovka. Putin praised the troops for delivering a breakthrough that Moscow says will accelerate the fulfilment of key objectives of the special military operation.
