“Now, ‘all things are possible to him that believeth’, but I would be just put those a few provisos on the present situation for Gaza. You have got a stalemate at the present time. You have got Israel camped on this yellow line on the map. You have got Hamas basically taking over on the inside there. Israel keeping some sort of control on the outside which is between the yellow line and Israel itself. A stalemate. Now that can’t go on forever either. The situation on the ground in Gaza is such that about 80 to 90% of buildings have been destroyed. 300,000 homes are destroyed. About a million people are homeless. 80% of the agricultural land has been destroyed. 60% of the road network has been wiped out. Currently, there are heavy rains in the area in both in southern Israel and in Gaza. So, the people who are displaced from their homes are now living in tents. And I saw pictures of them with the rain flooding down the tents in water and really in a desperate situation. You have to ask yourself: ‘How long can that go on for?”
