The United Nations Development Programme has taken a major step toward strengthening climate resilience in Trinidad and Tobago.
On Wednesday, the UNDP officially launched the Community Flood Early Warning System, designed to better protect communities from severe flooding.
The launch took place at the Santa Rosa Government Primary School, attended by Local Government Minister Khadija Ameen, Homeland Security Minister of Roger Alexander, Opposition Leader Pennople Beckles; and UNDP Resident Representative, Ugo Blanco.
