'Calendar' rock carvings from Ancestral Pueblo discovered.
The carvings were found at a site called Castle Rock Pueblo on the Mesa Verde plateau straddling the Colorado-Utah border. Early Native Americans may have used the ancient rock carvings as a calendar.
