The Digital Ministry’s Forensic Department has taken a mobile phone belonging to the wife of Durian Tunggal shooting victim G. Logeswaran to extract an audio recording and verify voice samples linked to the deaths of three men shot while in police custody in Melaka.
At a press conference on Wednesday (Dec 10), families' lawyer Rajesh Nagarajan said that CID officers conducted the session professionally and without pressure but expressed disappointment that several critical questions remained unanswered, including whether the case had been classified under Section 302 for murder and the status of the officers involved — whether suspended, investigated or reassigned.
Rajesh also raised concerns over the Special Task Force, noting the family was only told the rank of the leading officer, without names or the full team list.
