Interviewer: Lindsey many congrats. I know you are always self-critical but how satisfied are you with your Super G Run?
Lindsey: It was a great weekend and I have to be satisfied. Today I didn’t ski like I did in the Training Runs. I didn’t risk enough and I had to much respect for this course setting. But my skiing is there and the speed is there. I must make something different next weekend in the Super G but it is a great start. Definitely better as the other girls thought it would be. But for me I know exactly how fast I’m and how I have it continue to ski.
Interviewer: When someone would have said to you it will be a 1st, 2nd and 4th Place even though you said before the races you are the strongest Lindsey of all time. What would you have said?
Lindsey: It is really a good start but I’m really self-critical and I know what I can do. It’s not that I’m angry about the 4th Place. It’s that I know that I can ski better. I always want to give my best and I always want to improve. I’ve a lot of things which I can improve for next weekend.
Interviewer: You talked with Viktoria Rebensburg and said normally the Olympic Games are your last race expect I’m in contention for a World Cup Globe. Did think a bit about that this could be a long Ski Season?
Lindsey: I didn’t think that I would have the red tricot after the first races in Downhill. So I think I will ski till the end. I hope.
Interviewer: We are looking forward to it. Many Congrats again.
Lindsey: Thank you.
