After nearly five years of imprisonment, Hong Kong former media tycoon Jimmy Lai has been found guilty on Monday in a landmark national security trial. He has been convicted of sedition and working with foreign forces.
Lai, founder of the now defunct Apply Daily, has long been a vocal critic of China. He had pleaded not guilty to all charges.
