അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ചലച്ചിത്രമേളയുടെ (IFFK) മുപ്പതാം പതിപ്പിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള തന്റെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകൾ പങ്കുവെച്ച് പ്രശസ്ത ചലച്ചിത്ര പ്രവർത്തകൻ പ്രകാശ് വേലായുധൻ. ഓരോ ചലച്ചിത്രമേളയും അതിന്റേതായ സവിശേഷതകൾ നിറഞ്ഞതാണെന്നും, അതിനാൽ തന്നെ ഈ വർഷത്തെ മേളയെ മുൻപത്തെ പതിപ്പുകളുമായി താരതമ്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ഇത്തവണത്തെ മേളയിൽ തനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ചിത്രം 'സിറാത്ത്' (Sirat) ആണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. കൂടാതെ 'പോയറ്റ്' (Poet) എന്ന സിനിമയും വളരെ ഗംഭീരമായ ഒന്നാണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. ഈ വർഷത്തെ മേളയും അതിലെ സിനിമകളും കാണാത്തവർക്ക് അത് വലിയൊരു നഷ്ടമായിരിക്കുമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ലോകസിനിമയിലെ മികച്ച സൃഷ്ടികൾ ആസ്വദിക്കാൻ ഇത്തരം വേദികൾ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു
