Lawmaker denies moves to oust Dy as Speaker
Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, in an ambush interview with reporters on Dec. 17, 2025, denies moves to oust Speaker Faustino Dy 3rd and Majority Leader Sandro Marcos over the deadlock in the bicameral conference committee deliberations for the 2026 budget. The House deputy majority leader also said that he respected the decision of the committee to approve the P889 million budget of the Office of the Vice President.
