Indian Railways : టికెట్ ధరలను పెంచుతూ భారతీయ రైల్వేశాఖ ప్రకటన చేసింది. ఇవి డిసెంబరు 26 నుంచి అమల్లోకి రానున్నాయి. తాజా మార్పుల ప్రకారం.. లోకల్, స్వల్ప దూర ప్రయాణాల టికెట్ ధరల్లో ఎలాంటి మార్పు లేదు. ఆర్డినరీ క్లాస్లో 215 కి.మీల కంటే తక్కువ దూరం ప్రయాణికులకు ఎలాంటి ఛార్జీలు పెంచలేదు. అంతకంటే ఎక్కువ దూరం వెళ్లే.. ఆర్డినరీ క్లాస్ రైలు టికెట్ ధర కిలోమీటరకు 1 పైసా చొప్పన పెంచింది. మెయిల్/ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ ఏసీ, నాన్-ఏసీ రైళ్లలో కిలోమీటరకు 2 పైసలు చొప్పున ఛార్జీలు పెంచింది. ఇక నాన్-ఏసీ ట్రైన్లో 500 కి.మీ దూరం ప్రయాణించే వారు అదనంగా రూ.10 మాత్రమే చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంటుంది.
The Indian Railways has announced a ticket fare hike, effective from December 26. While local and short-distance passengers remain unaffected, fares for long-distance travel have been revised.
Ordinary Class passengers traveling beyond 215 km will see a marginal increase, while Mail and Express trains (AC & Non-AC) will have a hike of 2 paise per km. Notably, a 500 km Non-AC journey will cost just ₹10 extra.
