2025-12-22 12 Dailymotion

2025 will be remembered as a year when climate extremes turned from risk to reality across Southeast Asia. Monsoon rains supercharged by warmer oceans have triggered catastrophic floods and landslides, while rare storm formations have tested preparedness and resilience. On this episode of #ConsiderThis Melisa Idris speaks with Professor Emeritus Dr Fredolin Tangang, Emeritus Professor of Climatology and Climate Change at UKM, Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, and is currently serving at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. He is a former Vice-Chair of Working Group I of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change.
