The new Opel Mokka GSE makes a real statement, primarily with its powerful performance. With a peak output of 207 kW (281 hp), the production electric model, which is already available to order, is just as powerful as its motorsport counterpart, the Mokka GSE Rally. And with an instantly available torque of 345 Newton meters, it delivers equally uncompromising acceleration. The Mokka GSE sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds – and with a top speed of 200 km/h, it becomes the fastest all-electric production Opel. Mokka GSE drivers can choose from three driving modes: ""Sport,"" ""Normal,"" and ""Eco."" In Sport mode, the electric vehicle is tuned for performance and delivers its full power; in Normal mode, it reaches speeds of up to 180 km/h; and in ""Eco,"" all settings are optimized for maximum efficiency. The Mokka GSE stores its energy in a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery.
Its exceptional performance is also due to its exemplary curb weight of under 1.6 tons for a battery-electric vehicle, as well as the sophisticated technology, which was also inspired by the rally prototype. The Mokka GSE features a Torsen limited-slip differential and a chassis with specifically designed axles and new hydraulic shock absorbers. All high-voltage components of the production Mokka GSE, such as the motor, inverter, battery, and wiring harness, are taken from the Mokka GSE Rally. Likewise, the steering system, suspension, and brakes have been specially designed for sporty performance and optimized using Opel's experience from electric rally racing.
