The Gentil House in Aschaffenburg is a fascinating piece of history. It was built in 1923/24 by Anton Gentil, a local industrialist and art collector. Gentil designed the house himself to showcase his extensive and eclectic art collection, which includes medieval altars, sculptures, East Asian artefacts and modern art.
