Since its launch, the Opel Grandland Electric has been available with a 73 kWh battery and a range of up to 521 kilometers (WLTP). Just a few weeks ago, the Grandland Electric AWD, boasting a system output of 239 kW (325 hp) and 509 Newton meters of torque, celebrated its public premiere at the IAA Mobility show in Munich as Opel's first all-electric all-wheel-drive vehicle. And with the Grandland Electric Long Range, available to order now, Opel is further expanding its range of the top-of-the-line, battery-electric SUV "made in Germany."

For those who want to enjoy even more electric mobility freedom than before, the new Grandland Electric Long Range is the ideal choice. Its 694-kilometer (WLTP) range significantly exceeds everyday requirements. This is made possible by the STLA medium platform on which the Grandland Electric is built. It is designed to accommodate batteries with up to 97 kWh – as in the Long Range variant – without compromising passenger or cargo space. This allows Grandland Electric drivers and their families to travel even further before the battery recharges to 80 percent capacity in approximately 27 minutes at a public fast-charging station.

Powerful driving pleasure is always guaranteed. The Grandland Electric Long Range's electric motor delivers 170 kW (231 hp) of power and 345 Nm of instant torque. This allows the electric vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds; a top speed of up to 170 km/h is possible.
