Filipino student creates website to track flood control projects
Filipino student Gian Alingog uses the flood control mess to create a website that will track projects through a network of volunteer experts, with the aim of using artificial intelligence to determine whether the projects are up to standard, substandard, nonexistent or 'ghost' projects. In an exclusive interview with The Manila Times, Alingog hopes that Filipinos will be more empowered to monitor government construction projects in their communities.
