Defense ministry officials says China launched a satellite-carrying rocket just after midnight on Sunday. It comes as China sent seven navy ships and 13 military aircraft near Taiwan between Saturday and Sunday mornings. China also launched two weather balloons on Thursday, which one official says could be used for advancing China's missile accuracy.
