दिल्ली-NCR में सोमवार सुबह घना स्मॉग और कोहरा छाया रहा, जिससे जनजीवन बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुआ। राजधानी का औसत AQI 402 दर्ज किया गया, जो “गंभीर” श्रेणी में है। जहांगीरपुरी, आनंद विहार और शाहदरा जैसे इलाकों में AQI 450 के पार पहुंच गया। दृश्यता 50 मीटर से भी कम रही, सड़कों पर यातायात और हवाई उड़ानें प्रभावित हुईं। ठंडी हवाओं की कमी और गिरते तापमान के कारण प्रदूषण जमीन के पास फंसा हुआ है। हालात को देखते हुए GRAP-3 की पाबंदियां लागू की गई हैं। अगले कुछ दिनों तक हालात गंभीर बने रहने की आशंका है।
