In Kamui: The Lone Ninja, now a renegade ninja, continues his endless journey. He battles relentless pursuers using deadly ninja techniques like the Transforming Sword Draw Mist Slash and the Iizuna Drop, along with skills like self-hypnosis. Along the way, he solves incidents occurring in villages. Within the episodes, Kamui disguises himself as various classes and occupations of the Edo period, such as a servant, a black hoe-wielder, a woodcutter, and a fisherman.
