Juicy Groove – First Taste 1978 (USA, Psychedelic, Hard Rock)
A short-lived supergroup featuring former members of Steppenwolf (guitarist Mars Bonfire, a.k.a. Dennis Edmonton) and Captain Beefheart's Magic Band (guitarist Elliot Ingber, a.k.a. Mercury Flyer, and bassist Gary "Magic" Marker), along with several drummers, including Thundercloud—the nickname of Mike Cassidy, son of Spirit drummer Ed Cassidy and Ron Bushy of Iron Butterfly. Vocalist and rhythm guitarist Michael "Rainbow" Neal from Sky Saxon's World Peace Band. The album was recorded in the psychedelic garage style in the early 70s and released by Payola Records only in 1978.
