Trump addresses Iran, Abraham Accords, Chinese drills in joint presser with Netanyahu
US President Donald Trump on Monday warned Iran against rebuilding its military capabilities, saying Washington would act swiftly if Tehran was confirmed to be developing weapons again. Speaking alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after their meeting in Palm Beach, Trump said Iran had been “greatly reduced in power” and warned that renewed activity would bring “very powerful” consequences, while adding that he would be open to bilateral talks with Tehran. Trump also said he had a “great relationship” with Chinese President Xi Jinping and played down concerns over recent Chinese naval drills around Taiwan, saying the exercises did not worry him.
