In this episode, Heddy is eager to volunteer for a political candidate. Herman is initially dismissive of the idea until he meets the candidate, Sandra Clayton (played by Michelle Phillips), and finds himself attracted to her. He becomes involved in her campaign for the Senate, but things get complicated when the tabloids become involved.
