A thick cloud inversion covers the landscape below as clear skies appear above the summit of Snowdon.
Kacper Oszczepalski, from Shrewsbury, UK, filmed the scene from the top of Snowdon in Wales at around 8am, following an overnight hike in cold and icy conditions.
The footage shows a dense blanket of clouds stretching across the valleys below, with only the summit area visible above the cloud layer.
The video captures the stillness and scale of the phenomenon, often referred to as a “sea of clouds,” offering a rare view from above the cloud cover.
Viewers reacted to the calm scene in the comments.
One wrote: “Completely natural sky above the clouds, nothing to see here.”
Another added: “We really are gifted some magic.”
