地球上のどこかにある“お宝”のありかを示したアイテムを特定の個数集めようとする、ヤッターマンとドロンボー一味との戦いを描いた作品。「ヒーローに変身する男女ペアの主人公」「ゾロメカ」「おだてブタ」「三悪メカ爆発時のドクロ雲」など、後にシリーズを象徴することになる要素のほとんどは本作品が初出である。ツナギをベースにしたヒーローコスチュームというのも異色である。

This work depicts the battle between Yatterman and the Doronbo Gang as they strive to collect a specific number of items revealing the location of a “treasure” somewhere on Earth. Most elements that would later become emblematic of the series first appeared here, including the “male-female pair of protagonists who transform into heroes,” “Zoro Mecha,” “Flattery Pig,” and “skull clouds when the Three Evil Mechas explode.” The hero costumes based on coveralls are also quite distinctive.
