Some Venezuelans living in Spain celebrated reports of the US strikes in Venezuela in the early hours of Jan 3 following months of threats by the White House against Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro.
They said they had been waiting for US intervention for some time and they believed the country was moving towards freedom.
