US insists Venezuela will comply with American demands

The US launched nighttime strikes on the Venezuelan capital of Caracas on January 3, 2026. Upon capture, the US military flew President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores to New York where they were indicted on ‘narco-terrorism’ charges.
