The government will credit RM100 under the Bantuan Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (Sara) to all Malaysians aged 18 and above starting Feb 9 to help with Ramadan and Chinese New Year expenses, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced on Monday (Jan 5).
Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) recipients will receive RM200 from Jan 9, while RM500 will be paid in the first phase to eligible Malaysians.
Anwar also said RM150 in early schooling aid will be credited on Jan 13, with total allocations amounting to about RM800mil.
