The Orbital Ring, a space elevator base built to realize humanity's dream of space exploration, was seized in an instant, and the invasion of Earth began. Earth's weapons proved utterly ineffective against the indestructible Radam Beasts, while a mysterious masked “Superhuman” possessed combat prowess far surpassing even the Radam Beasts. Deprived of the Orbital Ring's laser cannons—their only viable weapon—and with all spacecraft destroyed, humanity had no means to resist. They could only endure the invasion in silence.
