Newly appointed 31st Army Chief Jeneral Datuk Azhan Md Othman has urged all personnel and officers to remain calm and united in fulfilling their duty to safeguard national security.
Speaking at a press conference following the guard of honour ceremony at Wisma Pertahanan on Tuesday (Jan 6), he described any ongoing issues as isolated incidents that do not affect the entire force, emphasising the need for discipline and cohesion among all members.
Jen Azhan also noted that his appointment carries great responsibility, as the Army is the largest organisation within the Malaysian Armed Forces.
