Malaysia has bolstered its aviation training capabilities with the launch of MAB Academy’s Simulator Building, a move seen as strengthening the country’s ambition to become a leading regional aviation hub.
Speaking at the launch in Sepang, Selangor on Tuesday (Jan 6), Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the new facility is a timely investment that underscores Malaysia’s commitment to safety, skills development and long-term industry resilience.
Loke added that investments in aviation training also help cultivate a society grounded in science, critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making, while reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to strong regulatory oversight through the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and close cooperation with industry stakeholders.
