Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has suffered a fracture in his right hip after falling at his residence on Tuesday (Jan 6) morning.
His press secretary Sufi Yusoff said the ex-prime minister is expected to be hospitalised for a few weeks at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur.
